  15. First off, forget you ever heard the term 'Screamernet' for the time
  16. being. Put it out of your mind, at least for the duration of this post, as
  17. it will only serve to confuse you.

  19. LW 4.0 will include distributive rendering. In other words, if you have LW
  20. for the PC, you will be able to render on multiple PCs with only one copy
  21. of the software. The actual interface will only be on one machine, though.
  22. This is very similiar to 3DS.

  24. What you will NOT be able to do out of the box is have LW on your Amiga
  25. and have render only versions on your PC network. Cross platform
  26. networking and rendering are a nightmare that NewTek does not want support
  27. - although I'm sure 3rd party solutions will come up.
